Tony Corry — Wildlife & Nature Photographer

I’m a photographer based in Australia, drawn to the quiet, instinctive moments that unfold in wild places. Much of my work centres on nocturnal wildlife and the landscapes they move through—hours when the world slows down, senses sharpen, and even familiar environments feel unknown.

I’m interested in images that feel honest, atmospheric, and alive. Whether I’m waiting for an animal to emerge at dusk, walking through forests before sunrise, or shooting long exposures beneath a clear sky, I try to capture the mood of a place as much as the subject itself.

My images span wildlife, landscapes, astrophotography, and fine art. These genres overlap through a simple intention: to create work that reflects presence, patience, and the feeling of being part of something larger than yourself. I work both locally and abroad, exploring environments that reveal different rhythms, behaviours, and stories.

Ethical, low-impact photography guides everything I do. Respect, distance, and quiet observation shape how I approach each encounter, allowing moments to unfold naturally. I occasionally collaborate with research and conservation groups, including work with the Picchio Wildlife Research Centre in Shiretoko—experiences that deepen my understanding of wildlife behaviour and the fragility of the environments I photograph.

I enjoy partnering with organisations and brands that value nature, sustainability, and thoughtful storytelling. Together, we create imagery and narratives that invite people to slow down, look closer, and connect with the natural world—especially the parts of it we rarely see.

If my work resonates with you, I’d love to connect.
